Religious experience through music within a
Brazilian migrant community in Amsterdam
Food
After the prayer meetings, at 9 o'clock, tasty, typical Brazilian food is served. The two main ingredients in the Brazilian kitchen are rice and beans, which are served with meat or fish and salad. What you see on the picture on the right is rib. The dinner costs €5 which is used within the community.
A kitchen commission exists, consisting of several women, who start cooking on Wednesday afternoon to be able to serve meals to Servos do Amor around nine o'clock in the evening.
